A glorious shoot at Wythenshawe park

When discussing their upcoming shoot with Martina and the unpredictability of the Mancunian weather, we decided on Wythenshawe Park. We ended up with a cold but gorgeously sunny day (thank you weather gods) but the park proved to be a brilliant choice nonetheless. We started in the stunning Glass House, where we explored the fairy garden, admired the birds and spotted the fish. Next, Dominik had a blast at the park on the swings and slides before we visited the farm with the cute little piglets. We finished up taking full advantage of the previous days' rain with some good old puddle splashing. Needless to say Dominik was ready for his nap!

When I asked Martina her reason for wanting a shoot she said, 'My family live abroad and don't see us often, so we wanted to give them (and us to be honest) some beautiful memories.'

'The whole day was just amazing! Even Anthony, my husband, that is even more awkward than I am, has loved the experience 😄 The fact that there were hardly any staged photos was in way a relief, because as Anthony says himself, he's like Chandler Bing when it comes to taking photos (our fellow Friends enthusiasts will understand). Becky was just following us playing around, so all the photos are just us just having fun. Plus Becky's location idea was top notch!'
