an at home shoot with Tori and marley

I met Tori briefly at the Transcend Babychella Festival where she entered and won my giveaway for a family photo shoot! It was an absolute joy to visit her and Marley at their home. I loved chatting to Tori and finding more about their lives and playing with beautiful Marley.

Tori said 'From the moment you walked in the door we felt at ease, comfortable and relaxed. Marley was super chilled around you because your energy is right! The photos were breathtaking and I’d recommend you again and again!'

Tori explained how the shoot was different to her expectations, 'I expected it to feel forced but it was so natural and enjoyable. I felt like we had a friend over for coffee and ended up with a gallery of beautiful images with real smiles!' She went on to mention that she had apprehensions about the shoot due to sometimes feeling body conscious but that the shoot improved how she feels, explaining she felt emotional when she saw the images and that I'd captured their bond. This was so meaningful to me to have this feedback as one of my core values is to capture women with their children and see just how beautiful their connection is. We don't see how our kids look at us when we hug them, it's hard to capture those little everyday moments and interactions.

I'm overjoyed that Tori has invited me to her MotherZen pop up event on Tuesday 13th August where I'm going to be offering just that. An opportunity for the wonderful mamas attending to have a mini photo shoot with them and their babes and I'm including a FREE digital image.
